What is SCADES’ purpose?

The purpose of the South Carolina Association of Disability Evaluation Specialist (SCADES) is to promote the advancement of disability evaluation specialists by encouraging training, education and learning opportunities, as well as fostering a greater sense of communication within DDS. It seeks to promote the art and science of disability evaluation and enhance public awareness about disability evaluation. It does this by sponsoring professional and social activities to enhance the professionalism of our service within SCVRA, the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, and the communities and state in which we serve.
